It's a play on "grammar police." It's where I work out theories and pedagogies of composition, rhetoric, and literacy.
Classic. There's not a good donut shop in my hood, but Officer Romeo is always serving and protecting the local coffee shop. They do have biscotti.
I work in the hood, though. We don't have any coffee shops. At least not any that are open at 4:00 AM or that have Biscotti.
